Realizing potential since 1968.
Founded in 1968, Vodec provides life-enriching services for people with disabilities, including day programs, employment training and residential options. Unfortunately, people with disabilities often live out their lives behind closed doors. Our goal is to open those doors and help them become active participants in community life. Whether we’re working with families, school administrators or business partners, we believe in trying new things before ever saying, “No, we can’t do that.” For us, it’s about education, empowerment and care of the whole person. We focus on helping our consumers learn job skills, secure jobs, live in settings of their choice and enjoy integration into their communities.
CARF Accreditation
Vodec is accredited by CARF International, which sets the standards for our industry. CARF (Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities) provides accreditation services worldwide at the request of health and human service providers. For six consecutive periods, Vodec has earned three-year accreditations – (the highest CARF bestows) – for the following services:
- Community Employment Services: Employment Support
- Community Employment Services: Job Development
- Community Integration
- Organizational Employment Services
