As a Day Services Assistant, you will provide caretaking, teaching, and recreational activities to individuals with developmental disabilities attending our day habilitation program. You will help facilitate individual and group activities with individuals geared towards increasing capacity in interpersonal communication, problem-solving, self-care, motor skills, etc. Our direct support professional staff create opportunities for individuals to achieve personal goals and develop life skills; all while enjoying social outings, art projects, cooking lessons, musical exploration and more!

Day Services Assistant

You will assist in the supervision and care of students with disabilities in a variety of instructional settings, including general education and work/community settings. The greatest reward in this position is watching youths learn to increase their independence and self-determination.  . You will assist students develop skills necessary for daily living including practical money management, cooking, nutrition, health and safety.  You will also assist stuents access community resources, applying for community employment and act as a job coach for students at a community-based job site.

Day Services Manager

As a Day Services Manager, you will supervise, coordinate and evaluate day service programs and and staff.. You will oversee the day-to-day operation of the program including delivery of supports, implementation of person-centered plans, health care, advocacy, customer engagement, and regulatory compliance.

Employment Training Coordinator

As an Employment Training Coordinator, you will coordinate and provide pre-vocational training and support to consumers with disabilities in a facility-based employment setting. Complete comprehensive assessments, individual support plans and daily service plan follow up. Utilize job coaching strategies to instruct individuals on proper work habits. Help consumers develop work skills through light assembly and packaging tasks for local businesses.

Residential Services Assistant

Residential Services Support Staff

As a Residential Services Support Staff you will provide residential support services to disabled persons and administrative support to residential services supervisors and manager. Staff will provide logistical support to department such as filing, delivering, retrieving and maintaining information from sites. Staff will also schedule and transport consumers to medical and dental appointments.

Route Driver

As a route driver, you will help transport individuals with disabilities using organization vehicles (wheelchair accessible passenger van and/or mini bus). Transportation includes picking up and dropping off consumers from their homes and the Vodec Center. Additionally, staff will assist consumers with boarding and exiting the vehicle.
