The Vodec Vikings mean business this year, as their opening cheer indicates. Our Special Olympics Cheer Squad has been getting ready for competition during the past month with weekly practices Tuesday afternoons in Council Bluffs. Proudly representing Vodec on the 2020 squad are:

The 2020 head coach is Vodec’s Julie Fox. She’s assisted by Candice Anesi, Collin Hames and Robert Renshaw.
Due to the cancellation of Special Olympics Iowa’s 2020 Mid-Winter Tournament because of the respiratory illness caused by the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19), the Vodec squad will perform in uniform at Vodec in Council Bluffs Thursday, March 12, at 12:30pm for Vodec staff. Following the performance, Vodec will host its own medal ceremony. Below is their closing cheer.
